Meet Josue Medina

Hi, my name is Josue Medina.  I’m from Venezuela and I received me bachelors degree in Business Management, and currently an Assistant Tennis Professional at FM Tennis Academy, River Plantation Sports Park location.

I have been playing tennis since 2007, I started playing tournaments around Venezuela when I was 10 years old in the 12 years old category, while playing in that category I reached my highest ranking which was 30th in the national league, and two years later I went to a tennis camp in Madrid, Spain. During my time there I spent 3 weeks at the Tennis Total Academy by Miguel Ángel Verón Armiñana, which was a great opportunity to learn and gain more experience with my game.

Shortly after, I started playing international tournaments such as COSAT and ITF  in South America until when I was 16 years old.
Unfortunately, I had to stop playing tournaments due to the political climate in Venezuela, my family and I had to leave the country where we moved to Peru. Once we were settled I started playing again and working at the Tennis Academy County Club de Buenos Aires, by Juan Carlos Vázquez Ramos for 3 years.

Currently, I have been actively coaching with FM Tennis Academy, where I’ve been doing my best to share my values and knowledge, with everyone who wants to learn how play the sport what I love and gave me a lot of opportunities to be a great person inside or outside of the tennis courts. Please reach out if you are interested in lessons, I’d love to connect and work together to meet your goals.
