Jason Haynes has been in College Tennis for the last 19 years. He has been associated with the tennis programs at Tyler Junior College, Texas State University, and Lee College. He has also spent time at Stanford University helping them with their Nationally Ranked Junior Nike Tennis Camps.
He has been associated with 11 National Championships at the Junior College level. He has coached over 60 All American Tennis Players. He has coached players that have played on the ATP and WTA tours. He has been named the Wilson/ITA National Junior College Coach of the year twice in 2002, and 2010. He was the Texas Tennis Coaches Association Collegiate Coach of the Year in 2002. He was elected to the NJCAA Tennis Coaches Hall of Fame in 2009.
His teams have always been on the cutting edge of learning. Always looking for that Eureka moment, Jason researched and trained his athletes in the latest, most productive manners. Haynes is, has been, and will be a student of the game. He is always willing to learn new methods of teach technique, training and athlete physically, and mentally and emotionally
He is currently working for FM Tennis Academy in The Woodlands, TX.
He is a partner in www.rocksolidtennis.com and www.int-tennis-recruiting.com with Eric Arrington, head coach at Eastern Arizona College. Jason also co-hosts a weekly internet radio show on www.blogtalkradio.com with AJ Segneri of Concordia University entitled Diversity in College Tennis.
